Tower Clock Eye Center in proud to introduce the Optomap® Ultra-widefield Retinal Imaging system at our Green Bay location. This technology allows our doctors to scan the retina in detail to detect potential vision problems earlier than other technologies. Detecting issues earlier allows for better and more effective treatments – and for you to better maintain your vision.
The Optomap system allows our doctors to see the retina and its blood vessels directly. Seeing blood vessels allows them to help diagnose other potential issues such as stroke, heart disease, hypertension and diabetes. The scan captures up to 80% of your retina, while tradition scans capture only 15%.
The procedure is simple and nothing touches your eye. It is fast, painless and comfortable – and only take a few moments to complete.
During your next visit, be sure to ask your doctor about having an Optomap retinal scan performed so you can keep seeing clearly for years to come. To schedule your appointment, please call 920 499-3102.
