Dr. Annette Giangiacomo, MD is a native of the Midwest, having been raised in Columbia, Missouri. She specializes in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma for patients of all ages, and has spent many years in academic medicine helping manage the most complicated of cases.
Dr. Giangiacomo is fellowship-trained and has been involved in research and published on a variety of topics in the field of glaucoma, including adherence to treatment, surgical complications of incisional procedures, injectable glaucoma medications, and the relationship between menopause and glaucoma. She has a passion for teaching surgery to surgeons and has contributed to teaching at Orbis, the flying eye hospital.
She has a strong commitment to patient care and ensuring patients understand their eye health and the choices they have in their treatment.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, spending time with family and friends, and staying current with the news.

Yesterday Dr. Kunal Patel presented to the Fox Cities Living in Retirement group at Oak Park Place in Menasha. Dr. Patel spoke on everything from basic eye exams to specific glaucoma and cataract surgeries. Our surgeons frequently speak at such events to better inform the public of eye health.
