Kurt Schwiesow, MD, presented on laser cataract surgery at Tower Clock Eye Center’s Shawano location last night to a full house. Dr. Schwiesow explained the origins of cataract surgery, how the procedure has evolved and explained the many benefits laser surgery at Tower Clock Eye Center offers.
Following the formal presentation, Dr. Schwiesow took questions from the audience for nearly an hour. Schwiesow answered questions on many surgery-related topics including insurance coverage, dropless cataract surgery and pre- and post-operative care.

Last night Tower Clock Eye Center hosted a continuing medical education event where Dr. Annette Giangiacomo, MD, presented on glaucoma to nearly 30 area optometrists. The event also served as an open house for our new state-of-the-art Appleton surgery center.
Dr. Kurt Schwiesow, MD, presented to a large group of optometrists as part of a Continuing Medical Education event held last night in Oshkosh. Dr. Schwiesow, a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist, spoke on the latest advanced treatments for the disease, including iDose TR and Durysta.
