Patient Service Representative (PSR)

Tower Clock Eye Center is looking for candidates to join our team as a Patient Service Representative (PSR). PSRs are the frontline contacts with our patients and provide valuable services and duties outlined below. As a PSR, you’ll assist our patients while providing unsurpassed customer service. PSRs represent our clinic while helping strengthen the relationship between Tower Clock Eye Center and those in our care.

Description of Duties:

  • Greets, checks in and assists patients.
  • Helps patients in filling out patient forms.
  • Answers phones, takes messages, routes calls when necessary.
  • Schedules patient appointments.
  • Collects co-payments from patients.
  • Obtains demographic and insurance information
  • Schedules new and follow-up patient appointments.
  • Develops knowledge of patient needs and trends to improve patient satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum high school education or equivalent.
  • Preferred working knowledge of health insurance and medical terminology.
  • Must possess strong desktop computer and telephone skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Ideal candidate is detail-oriented and takes initiative when needed.
  • The ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • COVID-19 vaccine required – health and religious-based exemptions considered.

Monday – Friday, no weekends or evenings.

HS/GED or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Varies on experience
