Ophthalmic Refractive Consultant
We are a modern, fast-paced, and quickly growing clinic. Our energetic team works hard to make our patients feel comfortable in our care. A successful candidate must be a flexible team player and a self starter with a good work ethic.
Job responsibilities include greeting the patient, entering patient information into the electronic medical record, pre-testing the patient, performing an array of diagnostic tests, instilling eye drops, assisting the doctor, triaging patient phone calls, maintaining equipment and other duties as assigned.
The refractive consultant must be able to determine which refractive surgeries a patient is a candidate for, review vision correction options with the patient and discuss the risks and benefits of different refractive surgeries with the patient.
Our company offers many opportunities for growth and encourages certification. Prior experience required. COA or COT certification is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Experience required.
Hours variable: Monday – Friday, no evenings or weekends.
