Tower Clock Eye Center is an independent ophthalmology practice providing medical and surgical eye care for patients in Northeast Wisconsin for more than 40 years. The practice was started in 1980 by Karl Schwiesow, M.D. With the addition of Tyson Schwiesow, M.D. in 2002, Kurt Schwiesow, M.D. in 2005, Matt Thompson, M.D. in 2010, and in 2021 Kunal Patel, M.D., Tower Clock Eye Center is proud to continue the tradition of excellence that has helped us become one of the most respected medical practices in the area.
The physicians at Tower Clock Eye Center provide comprehensive medical and surgical eye care, and specialize in the consultation and treatment of cataracts and glaucoma as well as corneal disease and refractive surgery. The surgeons at Tower Clock Eye Center specialize in and are the most experienced laser cataract surgeons in Wisconsin.
All of our physicians are certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and are active fellows of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. We offer physicians who have undertaken an additional year of fellowship training in glaucoma, cornea and refractive surgery, and ocular pathology.
Our main office in Green Bay is conveniently located on West Mason Street between Oneida Street and the Fox River. Tower Clock Eye Center physicians also see patients at our Appleton and Shawano locations.
Green Bay office hours are Monday through Thursday 8a.m. – 5p.m.* and Friday 8a.m. – 4p.m.

Last night Kunal Patel, MD, presented Review of Common Eyelid Conditions to Tower Clock Eye Center techs and other staff. The presentation gave those in attendance added insight into several diseases and remedies for eyelid maladies. Our doctors regularly hold such events to further educate staff to provide our patients the best possible care.
