Dear Dr. Tyson,
I thought it would be nice to let you know how please I am with my recent left eye cataract surgery using the ReStor lens implant.. After my right eye was done about one year ago I really did not expect a whole lot to improve with my left eye. I was considering having a regular lens implant rather than spending the extra money.
Thank you for advising me to have the ReStor implant in my left eye. I listened to your advice telling me that in order to get the full benefit from the lens I should have the implant in my left eye also. I am so happy i followed your advice.
After my surgery I was able to read the instructions the nurse handed me in the recovery room. I never dreamt my vision would improve so much! I not only read without my glasses, but play cards, work on the computer, and shop. I have not used glasses at all since my surgery on October 15th. It is great looking at the world without having to be looking through glasses. Once again, thank you for the advice, surgery, and care that was given me during and afterwards.

Seven days ago I had my first cataract surgery performed by Dr. Tyson Schwiesow and am very pleased with the results. My sight is better than I ever expected. I had a TORIC lens implanted to correct astigmatism and now my vision is 20/20 in my right eye. Now colors are brighter and everything is sharper. There never was any discomfort after surgery and Dr. Tyson put me at ease during the surgery. It was over in minutes. I can hardly wait for the surgery in my left eye in twelve days.
