Tower Clock Eye Center surgeons are the first in Northeast Wisconsin, and among the very first in the state, to implant a new astigmatism-correcting multifocal lens in patients. This lens, the ReSTOR® Toric intraocular lens, is the first true multifocal IOL to be approved for use in the United States.
The lens gives patients less dependence on glasses and was developed through the blending of two technologies that simultaneously correct for presbyopia and corneal astigmatism. The IOL is ideal for patients who desire better near, intermediate and far vision with the increased possibility for the freedom from glasses.
